Three suggested programmes for an evening bassoon and piano recital are given below, each with two 40-45 minute halves.
The programmes are designed to explore the versatility and character of the instrument, and its
core repertoire. Each of these full programmes can be readily shortened to give a lunchtime
recital programme, but as an alternative, we also offer a
lunchtime recital of music for solo bassoon featuring Berio's extraordinary Sequenza XII.
